I have a TC-P58V10 that is getting better reviews of its pioneers 9G panels done. I ran around with Audio Quest Cables chocolate (2.5% silver) and the path through a Denon 2809 driving two Martin Logan Puritys. I originally had a PS3, and I found a great Blu Ray. I was wrong about. Then I bought the Denon 1800 only to discover that does not support upgrading the firmware, if you have an apple. He took it back immediately and went with a Panasonic BD-60. I was in the middle of the film Benjamin Button, when I switched to Denon, the Panny. What is the difference in image quality crowds. Let nobody tell you all Blu Ray * MUST * output the same image quality with Blu Ray. I was watching a movie with next to no color, which soon came to life. Then I have the Oppo and yes, it loads quickly, I personally would not have load times PQ fast. I also went back to Denon PQ. Not impressed. Bitstream also by the player, the Denon 2809 was quite similar between the opposition and the Panny. Do not compare the internal decoder, though I left my 2809 does not decode. So I borrowed a friend Marantz 5004 and wiped out Oppo BDP wear $ 50 plus in both audio and video output for the output bitstream via HDMI. Needless to say I have finally solved the BDP, but I will. I solved the Marantz 5004.
So if you want the best PQ, this is not for you. If you have a player who has everything on one level as mediocre, this is for you!

I updated to the newest firmware (3.41) with little to no improvement operationally.
